Who We Are
Founded in 2010 in Ankawa, Erbil, Kurdistan Region of Iraq. Al-Rajaa Elderly Care Foundation was created after a painful incident — the unnoticed passing of an elderly woman who died alone. That tragedy sparked a mission: to ensure that no elder is left without care, dignity, or love.
Our Journey Forward
Today, Al-Rajaa is evolving beyond an elderly care home into a growing Non-Profit Organization dedicated to compassion and social impact. We are becoming a center where older people, youth, families, caregivers, and communities come together to heal, connect, and build a more inclusive, caring society.
